Inside Taehyung's private office, the atmosphere was suffocating. RM stood near the giant screen reviewing CCTV footage collected from roads, toll gates, and nearby businesses. Suga was on another call with one of their security heads. Meanwhile, Taehyung stood in front of the large glass wall overlooking the city. His eyes looked exhausted and red from lack of sleep. The office door suddenly opened. One of the security team members entered nervously.

Security - Sir, we checked every route connected to the mall.

Taehyung turned. His sharp eyes glaring right into the security member, the man immediately lowered his head. The security man gulped hard before saying.

Security man - There are no results found.

Silence. Heavy silence. The guard swallowed hard again. Because everyone knew what happened whenever Kim Taehyung lost his patience.

Taehyung - (gritted his teeth) continue searching.

The cold order made the man leave immediately. RM sighed heavily.

Rm - We've searched almost every warehouse connected to Kang.

Suga clenched his jaw tightly while calling continuously on his phone but when he didn't found any clue, he threw the phone angrily on the wall making it shattered into pieces.

Suga - Where the fuck are you Lara?

Taehyung and RM both look at him then look at each other. There was clear understanding in their eyes. RM takes steps towards Suga and puts his hand on his shoulder.

Rm - Don't worry, she will be fine, after all she has to annoy you her whole life.

A broken chuckle left from his mouth while he nodded his head silently.

Lara felt like her head was splitting apart. Her head was throbbing continuously. For several moments, she couldn't even remember where she was. Then she heard distant voices. Like someone was shouting at someone.

? - I told you all to bring Y/n… what garbage you all bring here… bloody idiots.

A woman's furious voice cut through the haze. Lara's brows twitched slightly. Another voice came nervously.

? - M…mam we thought she…

? - You bloody idiots really thought.

The sound of something crashing against the floor echoed through the room. Lara flinched weakly. Her head hurt. Her body hurt. And suddenly… She started remembering everything from running away with y/n to escaping from the guards and then came those attackers. She flew open her eyes but she instantly regretted it as sharp pain crossed through her head. She blinked her eyes several times to open it normally then around herself only to widen her eyes because she found herself in a dark abandoned building. Fear immediately settled in her chest. She tried to move but was not able to, she looked down only to find herself tied on a wooden chair. Her wrists were tightly bound behind a chair. Her ankles tied securely. Even a thick cloth was tied across her mouth. A muffled sound escaped her throat instantly.

Lara - mmmmp… mmm… mmmph..

She pulled against the ropes desperately. But they didn't budge. The movement made one of the nearby guards notice her.

Guard - Boss, she is awake.

The conversation stopped immediately. Lara froze. Her eyes slowly lifted toward the people standing several feet away.

Four guards. A woman. And a man. The woman stood with her back partially facing Lara. Long dark hair flowed over her shoulders. Her expensive black coat looked completely out of place inside the dirty warehouse. Meanwhile the man beside her stood facing the guards. The moment Lara saw his face… Her eyes widened. Shock replaced fear instantly.

Kang. It was Kang. Her brother’s rival. The same man Taehyung openly despised. She again tried, desperate to free herself.

Lara - mmmph… umm…

Kang's gaze shifted toward her briefly. Then away again. As if she wasn't important. The woman, however, looked absolutely furious.

? - You all piece of shit, from where she looks like Y/n to you all. Tell me you idiots, does she look like Y/n to you that you all kidnapped her instead of that bitch Y/n.

Lara's heart dropped instantly. She was looking at the woman with wide eyes.

Lara (in mind) - oh my god! It means they came for Bhabhi (sister in law).

The realization made her stomach twist painfully. The woman's continuous banter stopped by Kang.

Kang - Enough, cousin… stop it.

The woman turned toward him immediately. Her voice became colder.

? - No brother, that's not enough… I want that bloody y/n…

Lara's eyes widened slightly. There was something strange about the way she said Y/n's name. Kang crossed his arms.

Kang - You can still use her.

? - (laugh bitterly) Use her, for what? She is of no use to me. I just want that Y/n... I want to rip her skin alive. I want to scratch her face till he can't recognize her. Do you even know how feel when she stood beside him, that place was mine from the start.

Lara frowned, Him? Who? Who is she talking about but then the answer hit her suddenly… She was talking about her brother ‘Kim Taehyung’.

Lara (in mind) - I swear on my bhabhi, I'll kill you bloody bitch for dreaming to become my sister in law. Oppa, where are you, just came and save your sweet sister. (Cry internally)

After hours of flying through the night, the Kim family's private jet finally touched down on the runway. The moment it stopped completely, Jimin immediately unbuckled his seatbelt. Unlike before, his focus wasn't on luggage or formalities. Only one thing mattered. The necklace or can say tracker. And informing Taehyung as quickly as possible. He pulled out his phone before even standing up. The signal bars finally appeared. Jimin let out a relieved breath.

Jimin - Finally!

Y/n, who was sitting beside the window, looked at him anxiously. Without wasting another second, he pressed Taehyung's contact. The phone began ringing.

Inside Taehyung's office, the atmosphere remained tense. Multiple screens displayed CCTV footage. Yet there was still no sign of Lara. RM sat near the conference table reviewing another report while Suga stood near the screen speaking to one of their security teams. Taehyung looked exhausted. Hours had passed but they couldn't find any clue about that van which suddenly disappeared in the small valley but didn't come out from other side, it means clear that they change the vehicle, they even went to that area and found out that van in which they kidnapped Lara, but now it was abandoned alone in narrow valley. His phone suddenly vibrated making him snap out his thoughts. Taehyung glanced at the screen only to find Jimin calling. He instantly picked the call.

Taehyung - Did you land there?

Jimin - Taehyung, listen carefully.

Jimin didn't waste any time. Something about his voice made Taehyung alert.

Taehyung - What happened? Is everything ok.. Is Y/n fine?

Jimin - Everything is fine here, I just called you to tell you that the necklace which you gave Y/n for her safety, it is with Lara right now.

Taehyung - What? What the fuck are you saying. I gave it to Y/n and already warned her not to take it off then how it will be with Lara.

Jimin - I didn't know anything, I just know that you all can track Lara and bring her back safely. So now don't waste any more time.

Jimin said and instantly cut the call and looked at the Y/n who was already looking at him with a frown.

Y/n - What happened? What he said?

Jimin - Don't worry, they are going to track her.

Y/n sigh in relief and start praying silently for Lara's safety.

The moment Jimin ended the call, the office fell silent. Taehyung stared at his phone for a second before immediately opening a secured application. His fingers moved rapidly across the screen. RM and Suga watched without speaking. The application is loaded. Then a digital map appeared. And then a blinking red dot appeared. Taehyung’s eyes darkened immediately.

Taehyung - Suga, let's go… we got her location and Rm hyung, you came behind us with a back up.

He said and instantly went out with Suga followed behind. Rm instantly called the security team, forces and start making back up plan.

The warehouse had grown quieter. The guards had retreated toward the corners of the room after being scolded repeatedly for bringing the wrong target.

The woman who had been furious earlier stood farther away now, speaking quietly with some of the men. Lara remained tied to the metal chair. Her wrists ached. Her shoulders hurt from sitting in the same position for so long. Kang had been standing near one of the warehouse pillars silently observing everything. Then slowly, he began walking toward her. The sound of his polished shoes echoed across the floor. Lara immediately stiffened, she tried pulling against the ropes again. Kang stopped directly in front of her. His cold eyes studied her carefully. Then a slow smile appeared on his face. One that immediately made Lara uncomfortable.

Kang - Well… you are also quite interesting.

He said while slowly tracing his thumb on her cheek making Lara instantly turn her head, feeling disgusted by his touch.

Kang - (chuckle) oh! so you don't like my touch… but I'm sure you would have enjoyed Min Yoongi's touch.. Right! (smirk) after all he is your bloody cheap addiction.

Lara instantly looks at him with her red eyes, she tightly clenched her fist in anger.

Lara (in mind) - How dare he take my oppa's name with his dirty mouth. I'll kill this bastard.

Kang - (smirk) You quite look like your brother in anger. You know what dear darling, we were planning to kidnap your dear sister in law but our idiots men kidnapped you but you know what, you are of no use for us but we can't let you go because it can be harmful for us.

He said while looking at her with his evil smirk, Lara frowned, not getting what he was trying to say, Kang instantly turned towards his cousin sister who was standing in the corner.

Kang - Tell me cousin sister what should we do with this useless shit.

Kang said while signalling towards Lara making Lara look at them with red eyes.

? - Just, kill her else she will only cause trouble for us in future.

Kang - (smirk) I like that idea but you know I quite like this tigress so I want to taste her before sending her to hell.

He said while looking at Lara with his lustful gaze made Lara feel disgusted and her eyes widened with shock and fear after hearing their talk.

Lara (in mind) - (crying) Tae oppa, Suga oppa… where are you both… please come to save me… I can't bear them anymore… please come fast.

? - (chuckle) Of course… you can enjoy her and don't forget to share her with our men.

She said with a smirk then signal towards the men who kidnapped her. Lara gulp hard in fear after hearing her then she looks at Kang and the other men who is already looking at her with lustful eyes.

? - You all enjoy, I'm going and Kang, you came as soon as possible after finishing the work.

She said then went out from there while Lara started sweating badly with fear. Her tears start falling from her eyes making the men standing there laugh at her condition. Kang slowly walked toward her. A smug smile rested on his face. The kind of smile that made Lara feel sick.

Kang - Oh! Looks like the tigress is turning into a kitten.

He mocked making the other men laugh out loud. But despite her fear, she still tried to glare at him with her teary eyes.

Men - (laugh) Boss, she's still staring at you like she's planning your funeral.

Kang crouched in front of Lara. Lara looked away instantly. He grabbed the armrest of her chair.

Kang - Even now you're trying to act brave.

Lara refused to react. Refused to give him the satisfaction. Kang's smile slowly disappeared.

Kang - Same arrogance as your brother. He thinks nobody can touch his family but tonight he'll learn a lesson.

Suddenly Kang grabbed her chin roughly and forced her to look at him. The men around them exchanged amused glances. Lara struggled immediately.

Lara - umm… mmmph

Kang - (chuckle) Go ahead, but nobody came to hear you here.

Lara look at him with fear, he slowly untied her cloth which wrap around her mouth and but before she can say or something, he start kissing her forcely. Lara desperately wiggles on a chair but is no use, helpless tears start falling from her eyes. Kang could hardly kiss her lips, making it bleed. He started going towards her when his eyes went towards her necklace, his eyes widened instantly but before he could do anything, the warehouse door exploded inward. The guard immediately took out their gun. Lara's eyes widened. Kang spun around immediately. And his eyes widened because two figures stepped through the smoke. Kim Taehyung And Min Yoongi. Lara's eyes instantly filled with happy tears.

Lara - (sob) Oppa…

Both instantly look towards her, Taehyung feel someone clench his heart seeing his dear sister in this condition while Suga's all attention was on her bruised lips. His jaw clenched tightly. Kang's men didn't waste any time and started firing towards them but they professionally defended themselves and attacked them. Those four men are none in front of them. Kang starts sweating badly seeing his men knocked down by them and seeing himself losing in front of them, he instantly takes out a knife from his pocket and puts it on Lara’s neck, her eyes widened instantly.

Lara - Oppa. (shout)

She shouts, gaining their attention, Suga instantly looks at her while Taehyung also looks at her after knocking the last man out.

Kang - Don't take another step if you both love her life.

Taehyung/Suga - Don't… (shout together)

Kang laughs evilly seeing fear in their eyes. He tighten his hold on kn*fe.

Taehyung - Leave her you bloody fucker.

Suga - If you hurt her then there won't be any place on earth where you can hide.

Kang laughed harder but then his laugh died down seeing Suga smirking.

Kang - What are you smirking for huh! Can't you see your love is in my hand right now and I can take her life in a second.

Suga - Oh really! But did you know what's interesting here?

Kang - (frowned) What?

Suga - You were so busy watching us that you didn't even notice your surroundings.

A small smirk appeared on Suga's face while Kang's expression suddenly changed into fear and confusion and before he could do anything the massive warehouse entrance burst open again.

The sound echoed through the building. Dozens of footsteps followed immediately. Kang spun around instinctively. And froze. RM walked through the entrance surrounded by additional security forces. Kang's face lost all color. RM's expression was colder than usual.

Rm - Looking for a route to escape our dear rival… (smirk)

Kang stood trapped in the center of it all. One arm locked around Lara's shoulders. The knife still held against her neck.

Taehyung - Put the knife down… Kang.

Taehyung’s voice echoed through the abandoned warehouse. Kang laughed shakily.

Kang - Do you think I'm stupid?

He said while slowly opening Lara's leg from chair but still holding kn*ife on her neck from the other hand.

Suga - Look Kang, Lara has nothing to do with our rivalry.

Kang immediately pointed the knife closer.

Kang - Stay back, don't you all dare to move. And you come with me.

He said while making Lara stand on her feet and start going towards the exit and clearly signalling everyone to not follow him. Lara was looking at three of them with tears in her eyes when Taehyung’s voice echoed through the warehouse.

Taehyung - Lara… don't forget that you are Kim and a sister of Kim Taehyung.

Her eyes briefly met Taehyung's and that time she saw something other than anger in her brother's eyes. Something like ‘trust', ‘power'. She didn't know from where she got the energy that she hit Kang hard on his forehead from her back head and then she instantly turned around and kicked him really hard but in that process, a slight cut gazed on neck, blood started oozing out from there but she didn't care less. She instantly turns around and runs straight into Taehyung’s arms. The forces move instantly and arrest Kang.

Lara - Oppa… (sob) I was so scared… I…

Taehyung - Shhh… everything is over my child… you are very strong and today you proved that you are kim's blood. Now wipe your tears, everyone is waiting for you in the Kim mansion.

Lara nodded while still hugging Taehyung tightly and Taehyung was continuously stroking her hair then looking at the officer.

Taehyung - Officer take all the men with you but leave Kang with our men. I want to personally take care of him.

Taehyung said with a clenched jaw, his eyes were red with anger, the officer gulped and nodded.

As the car entered the familiar gates of Gill Mansion, Y/n found herself staring out of the window silently. She would be very happy after coming home for the first time after her marriage but the circumstances in which she came here, she was not feeling any excitement. The car finally stopped in front of the mansion. She slowly gets down from the car only to find Jimin is already taking out his and her bag. She smiles faintly at him when he returns. They both reached towards the door then rang the bell. But no one opened it, y/n frown then again rang the bell… and sometime the door burst open and Meher started shouting loudly with her half open eyes.

Meher - Who the hell is disturbing my beauty sleep?

Jimin and Y/n look at her with wide eyes then look at each other and then Y/n burst out laughing seeing Meher standing in a cute night suit which has bunny ears printed on it and her hair was all messy.

Y/n - Meher… apni aankhein kholo gudiya. //Meher… open your eyes doll//

Meher instantly opened her eyes wide after hearing Y/n voice, her eyes widened more seeing Y/n in front of her, she rubbed her cutely then again looked at Y/n.

Meher - Are you really here… dii?

Y/n - Not only me, look at the other side also.

And when Meher looks at the other side, her eyes widen more seeing Jimin standing there and looking at her with a slight smirk. She instantly looked at herself and then again looked at Jimin and then.

Meher - AHHhhhhhh…..

She shouted so loudly that they both had to cover their ears. Meher instantly ran inside the mansion and then ran straight towards her room. They both chuckled, then came inside and settled inside the living room. Y/n frown seeing the house so quiet. She know that today is Sunday so all workers are on leave except security guards. After some time Meher came down from the stairs while wearing decent clothes, her face turned red with embarrassment.

Y/n - Meher, where is mummy papa?

Meher - Dii.. mummy papa kisi business party mein gaye hai… //sister… mom dad went to some business party//

She said then went inside the kitchen and instantly brought water and some snacks with cold drinks for them.

Meher - But dii… why did you suddenly come and why jeeju didn't come with you?

Y/n and Jimin look at each other then Y/n sigh heavily.

Y/n - Actually I was missing you all so much but your jeeju was so busy with his work and business. So he sent me here with Jimin oppa.

Y/n said while signalling towards Jimin making Jimin smile faintly. Meher also smiled but then her smile turned into a nervous one.

Meher - Dii… you both did your dinner already, right?

She asked with a nervous chuckle making Y/n laugh.

Y/n - So… you order food but don't cook by yourself.

Meher - (pout) Dii… you know na… how bad I'm at cooking.

Meher said but instantly felt flustered after seeing Jimin looking at her with a slight smile.

Y/n - (chuckle) Ok ok my sweet sister, now you go and prepare a room for Jimin oppa, till then I'll make dinner for everyone.

Meher instantly ran upstairs, that's when Jimin turned to Y/n.

Jimin - Y/n… why did you lie to her about that? Why didn't you tell the real reason for you coming here?

Every passing second felt like an eternity. Then.. the sound of vehicles entering the mansion echoed from outside. Everyone froze. Mrs. Kim stood up instantly. Everyone came inside the mansion one by one. At first RM, then Suga and then Taehyung came behind making everyone more anxious. As Mrs Kim opened her mouth to say something, Lara came behind Taehyung. Everyone’s eyes widened with relief and shock. Mrs Kim instantly ran towards her then hugged her tightly.

Mrs Kim - My daughter! My Lara! Are you okay? Did you hurt anywhere? Show me.

She said with a worried face but then her eyes widened seeing cuts on her neck.

Mrs Kim - Oh my god! How did this happen? Bring the first aid box, fast.

The maid instantly ran to get the first aid box while Mrs Kim sat on the couch with Lara. One by one every family member met her but when she didn't find y/n anywhere, she started looking here and there with a frown.

Lara - Where is Bhabhi(sister in law), Emma? She will be so worried for me. Let me meet her first.

She said while getting up when Mrs Kim held her hand and again make her sit on couch.

Mrs Kim - She is not here right now, you can meet her later on, Ok.

She said while caressing her cheek with teary eyes then glared at Taehyung.

Lara - What are you saying Emma? Why is Bhabhi (sister in law) not here and if she is not here then where is she?

Mrs Kim - Her husband thought because of her his sister got kidnapped so he sent her back to her house. She is in India right now.

Lara gasps loudly, tears instantly fill in her eyes, she looks at Taehyung with her teary eyes while he just looks here and there to avoid her stare.

Lara - Why? Why oppa? Why did you do this to her? How can I get kidnapped because of her when she loves me like I'm her child. How can you treat her like this? And how can you all let her go so easily. God will never forgive you all for this. (sob)

Everyone went silent because they knew what she was saying was true. Taehyung clenched his jaw tightly while looking the other side when Mr Kim gain his attention.

Mr Kim - Who kidnapped her Taehyung, where was she and how did you find her?

Taehyung - Appa! It was Kang again. He was trying to take revenge on me by kidnapping Lara. And we can find her easily because she is wearing a necklace which has a tracker fit in it. But I can't get that when I give this necklace to Y/n then what it is doing with you.

Lara instantly clenched the necklace tightly with wide eyes after hearing him.

Lara - What are you saying oppa… it has a tracker in it.

Taehyung - Yes! I give it to Y/n for her safety after that threat.

Lara - Did bhabhi know about this that there is a tracker in it.

She asked in a crack voice making everyone frown.

Taehyung - Yes! I told her about it and specifically instruct her not to remove it anytime then what it is doing with you.

He was getting frustrated now thinking about it. A sob left from her mouth gained everyone’s attention.

Lara - How? How can you do this bhabhi? You should care about yourself first, not me. Why did you do this? And what would have happened if they kidnapped you? (sob hard)

Everyone looked at her with a frown, not getting what she was trying to say, Taehyung instantly went towards her then sat beside her and cupped her cheeks.

Taehyung - Lara! Why are you crying? Now you are fine, everything is fine. Don't cry now, ok.

Lara - (shook her head) No oppa, everything is not fine. You know they were not came to kidnap me but they want to kidnapped bhabhi but by mistake they kidnapped me.

The words hit harder than expected, everyone looked at her with wide eyes.

Mrs Kim - What are you saying Lara? What do you mean by they came for Y/n?

Lara - It's true Emma. They came for bhabhi. I hear them talking about it

Taehyung - Them…! (frown) who was else there.

Lara - (nodded) Kang's cousin sister. She is the one who plans bhabhi's kidnap.

Hana - But why Lara? Why will someone want to kidnap Y/n?

Lara - Because of oppa, she is obsessed with oppa and that's why she wants to move out bhabhi from her way.

Taehyung clenched his jaw tightly, he blamed Y/n for all this trouble and now the main reason for which this is all happening is he himself.

Lara - And you know what oppa. You are the worst. How can you blame bhabhi and throw her out of the house like this when she is the one who didn't care for herself before me.

Mrs Kim - What do you mean Lara? To be clear, I'm already so tense.

Lara looks at Mrs Kim with teary eyes then she looks towards Taehyung.

Lara - Emma, Oppa! When we were leaving the house, Bhabhi herself made me wear her necklace saying it matched my dress. She was aware that this necklace is for safety, still she chose me over herself. She thinks for my safety before herself and what you did oppa. You blamed her, cursed her, even sent her back to her house. I'll never talk to you again. You are the worst. (Sob)

She said while crying hard then instantly ran towards her room. Everyone in the living room was frozen in their place. Taehyung slowly rose from the couch then straight went to his room with numb legs. Mrs Kim looked at Mr Kim with teary eyes then a sob also left from her mouth.

Mrs Kim - How can I do this to her! How can I blame my daughter! I was the one who brought her here as my Tae's wife and when she was breaking I didn't stand beside her. I'm the worst mother.

Mr Kim instantly sat beside her then hugged her tightly.

Mr Kim - Shh… stop crying my love, everything will be fine.

Taehyung was standing near the window in his room. His hands rested inside his pockets as he stared out of the large glass window. He was looking in the front but his mind was somewhere else. With Y/n. The guilt sitting inside his chest had become unbearable. A chuckle left from his mouth when a memory came in his mind of her falling in his arms every time. But then a frustrated groan left from his mouth.

Taehyung - What kind of husband am I? How can I do this to her? How I get this blind in anger.

He dragged a hand through his hair. His eyes instantly roam around the whole room. Every corner of this carried traces of her. And then suddenly he realized something terrifying. He missed her. He missed her presence, her voice, her being nervous every time in front of him. But then the realization hit him hard. He is the husband who had promised to protect her and was now himself becoming the one who made her cry.

Meanwhile… Y/n stood inside her old bedroom. The room she had grown up in. The room is filled with familiar memories. The room everyone thought had brought her comfort. But tonight, nothing felt comforting. Her eyes slowly moved toward the photograph frame sitting on her bedside table. Taehyung's picture. Cold. Reserved. Exactly like Kim Taehyung. Y/n stared at it for several seconds. Then her lips trembled.

Y/n - You are mean. You are really really mean. (cracked voice)

She grabbed the frame. Holding it carefully against her chest.

Y/n - I came all the way here and you didn't even call me, not even once. You scolded me. You sent me this away from you. I hate you tae. I hate you.

A sob left her mouth while complaining to his photo that how much her heart is hurting. She slowly looks at the frame then starts tracing every curve of his face.

Y/n - But you know what dear husband. Despite all this, I'm missing you. (hiccup) How can you make me so miserable!

Y/n leaned forward. And pressed a gentle kiss against the photograph. A soft kiss. Full of love. Full of pain. Full of missing him. The moment she pulled back, she immediately frowned.

Y/n - No, I can't be softened. I'll not forgive you for what you did to me. You throw me out of your life and our house. You send me away from my family and yourself. I'm not going to forgive you for this.

She said then went towards bed after placing the frame on the side table. Both are missing each other. Both hurting. And neither knew that the distance between them was becoming harder to bear with every passing hour.
